Flowering natives debut

To share with you a couple of my natives tjat are flowering for the first time:

den. delicatum

i love the snow white color

 

I have a few of this sort in rhe below. But this particular clone has more white colour at the centre of the flower and somehow it makes the flower looks more attractive than it’s siblings.

 

This last one is a surprise:

i bought 50 natives hybrid seedlings from AON three and half years ago, this one is flowering for the second time. It is the only plant that has quite intense yellow color. It is nice to see the petals are opening wider that last year, as well as significant increase in flowers count

Persevere with that yellow one more year mate   If you can get the spikes a little above the foliage.. ?

Thanks for the comment. It is a slow grower, so I will persevere for a couple of years to see how it looks like when fully grown.

Stunning! Herbert do you realise first flowering seedlings score separately in ESOS benchings towards a Trophy Prize? Gavin won this year.

Thanks for mentioning. I realised this only recently 🙂 Next time I will know where to put my flowering seedlings.

Growing seedlings is like keeping an unopened present for a few years before knowing what it is like 😉
