      Another bulb. I have in my collection. It is a parent of Bulb. Louis Sanders which I brought to the last meeting. It has longer hair like sepals, and nice reddish stripes patterns.

        Wow Herb, are these hard to grow??

        It is really beautiful, I think I might have a go at growing them.

          Hi Noelene,

          I am so glad that you are posting to the forums now. It’s nice to see your presence here.

          One of the reasons why I love bulbophyllum is the weird looking flowers that are so different from other orchids. Also except for a few cold sensitive varieties, most of them grow happily in the Eastern suburb’s climate. I find them fairly easy to care for, they enjoy intermediate light and have their root kept moist especially during growing season. Once established, you will find them quite a strong grower and you can subdivide them easily.
