      G’day Folks.

This morning I had joy to discover that my tiny bulbophyllum lasiochilum has opened its bloom. It was two days earlier than I expected, and it just opened suddenly

The flower is only 2cm tall, so it is a miniature orchid plant. But the greatest delight of all was it actually has a nice fragrance! I love orchids with beautiful scent and this is definitely one of them, and a big surprise too especially when I have heard that many bulbophyllum species have rather unpleasant smell, so I was very happy to find this cute little orchid has nice perfume rather than the smell of rotten meat. Now it is sitting happily on my dining table next to the window feeling much welcome 🙂
