There are several different varieties here Cathy.  They will all develop at different rates – flowering will occur through August and September

These little Oncids, what they don’t have in flower form, they sufe do make up in the perfume department.  Makes fiddling round among the orchids of a weekend so.much more pleasant ?

I remember these from last year.  Rare to get a good flowering in consecutive years from a small plant..  These intermedia hybrids are good growers though, lots of good years to come

Potting on the spring deflating. Great root formation in the perlite-vermiculite magic mix from The Hanging Garden Orchid Nursery. Keep the vandas, sarcochilus in this upto 50mm.  Too wet for dendrobium and cattleya in my conditions, they go into bark

Bit of waiting in front of me with the speciosums but some of the hot-colds are spiking up already
Should have some Catts in flower over the next couple of weeks too

I really like these novelty Vanda plants.  Charming, free flowering and much smaller plants than the usual Vandas

Life is good up here Helen.  Lots of sun, not much traffic and orchid societies everywhere.  I am loving it

The purple blush on the segments is very nice.  Would like to see this after 2-3 years of solid growth
